[Dixielandjazz] Seeking Information on "Saloon"

Can some of you provide me with additional information on the tune,  
"Saloon"?  Who is composer and lyricist?  Date of  copyright?  Was it written as a 
prohibition song?
 
I have a CD with Pat Yankee singing it and a couple of lead sheets that I  
came by from a no longer recalled source that attributes no one for this fun 
old  tune.
 
Google searching on that one word rather useless.
