Not jazz, but a comment on the perils of being a chick singer with a
band called "Insane Clown Posse." Say, didn't some bands wear clown
suits on the Steckenfus Boats?

Concert Organizers Say They’re Not Responsible for Audience Attack on
Singer

AUGUST 18, 2010, 12:14 PM - NY TIMES - BY DAVID ITZKIFF

In what was supposed to be a rebuilding year for horrorcore rap – a
year in which the scene dispelled its violent mythology andembraced
its status as comically misunderstood performers in clown makeup – the
company behind an annual concert featuring many of the genre’s most
prominent performers has distanced itself from an ugly incident that
occurred at the concert over the weekend.
Juggalo Gathering LLC, the company that produces the Gathering of the
Juggalos concerts, said on Wednesday that neither it nor the band
Insane Clown Posse was responsible for an incident in which Tila
Tequila, the reality television star and singer, was attacked by fans
after taking the stage at the festival on Saturday.
In a statement, the company said: “Ms. Tequila was made aware, in
advance, of her unpopularity with many Juggalos at the Gathering, but
she insisted on performing. She was even paid in full before her
performance, and was told that she did not have to perform, but if she
did decide to perform, she could leave the stage the minute that she
felt uncomfortable.”
Juggalo Gathering LLC added that the performer exacerbated the
situation when she “removed her top, exposing herself, which seemed to
mock and further antagonize the crowd.”
Tila Tequila, whose real name is Tila Nguyen, has said that she
required stitches after audience members pelted her with rocks, glass
bottles, firecrackers and waste from portable toilets.
She filed a complaint with law enforcement officials in Hardin County,
Illinois, where the Gathering of the Juggalos festival took place, and
wrote on her Twitter feed: “Pretty soon the owners who run the
Juggalos will be bankrupt. My attorney Alan is already on it. This is
disgusting behavior from men.”
