What Ho Marek,
I don't dislike this film tho' like many it is a bit sickly sweet in parts.
Apart from being released in 1942 I don't know actual shooting dates but, I
reckon the soundtrack may well include some Bunny Berigan's last recorded
work.

Here's the soundtrack listing:
Bunny Berigan and George Thow shared the soundtracking of trumpet work for
actor Jackie Cooper and for trumpet player Rex Stewart; Stan Wrightsman
ghosted piano for actress Bonita Granville; general jazz soundtrack
recording was by George Thow, trumpet; Joe Yukl, trombone; Peyton Legare,
clarinet; Jack Stacy, tenor sax; Stan Wrightsman, piano; Red Roundtree,
guitar; Bud Hatch, acoustic double bass; Richie Cornell, drums.
Rex Stewart has a speaking and playing role as King Jeffers (based on King 
Oliver)
