[Dixielandjazz] Dick Hyman with BG (was Benny Goodman, Teddy Wilson, Jess Stacy)

In the case of the Goodman story, the phrase made more sense. It led to his naming "Don't Be That Way" as they were making out the program for the Carnegie Hall Concert (notwithstanding the fact that the song had been recorded by Chick Webb years before). As I've already mentioned, I prefer Allen's line, which he says at least a couple of times to Donna Reed, "Do you like hot music?"

As for "Honestly Glenn," I think that stemmed from the fact that he was driven by his pursuit of "the sound" to the point that he was oblivious to everything, like June Allison was already engaged, etc.

The Glenn Miller bio made for a better movie given the circumstances of his death. The Goodman biopic had to manufacture the fake falling in love process between Goodman and Alice. No previous marriage, no kids, no getting married a few weeks after meeting.
