Al:
I guess that your copy of the LP must be a re-issue as you mention
caricature.
Mine, as dislosed to Bill Haesler has Roxanne, who usta do the commercials
for Sylvania
Blue Dot flashbulbs on either "To Tell the Truth" or "Beat the Clock" ,
hosted by Bud Collier
Bill's copy, on a label other than Columbia only shows the two left hands.
Funny, I always thought that Max Kaminksy sounded like the name of a guy who
should have
owned a NY deli..........and who was it who came up with that great line "If
I had my life to live over, I'd live over a delicatessen"
Do you remember the Shelley Berman routine where he owns a deli in Chicago
and his son
calls from the other side of the city to ask for $100 to send to the Actors'
Studio in NY? Possibly
my allt-time favorite of that Berman/Bruce/Sahl/Newhart era of comedy on
records.circa 1960
