[Dixielandjazz] Question for any New Orleans residents out there.

My 20 year old daughter wants to  get an apartment  this summer with a 
friend in the Bywater area of New Orleans.  How safe will she be there?  
It looks like a nice  residential  area.  She is going to be working in 
the Quarter and told her NOT to ride a bike at  night between the two 
areas.  What do you think?  Thanks in advance.
