You can check out Andy's at http://www.andysjazzclub.com . The site has a history, menu, and calendar showing the bands playing there. The address is 11 E. Hubbard St.

The Underground Wonder Bar has information at http://www.undergroundwonderbar.com . It is located at 10 E. Walton.

If you want to head to the South Loop for some blues, try Buddy Guy's Legends: http://www.buddyguys.com .

Fitzgerald's in Berwyn (southwest suburb) often has jazz, but none is scheduled for May, at least on the link to their May acts. You might want to check again near the end of April: http://www.fitzgeraldsnightclub.com

The biggest name jazz artists appear at the Jazz Showcase which is now at 806 S. Plymouth Court (east side of the old Dearborn station). See http://www.jazzshowcase.com for information, directions, etc.

Jim, it's called the Magnificent Mile, although most of us call it Michigan Ave.
