Bill Haesler replies:
Dear Bob,
I have the slow version on The Firehouse 5 +2 GHB CD 'Live at Earthquake McGoons 1970' that goes for almost 6 minutes (5.45m without the applause to be exact).
There is also the fast, furious and magnificent rendition of "High Society" by Dave Jones with the Kenny Ball Jazzmen recorded for Pye in May 1961. Currently available on a Lake CD (LACD114).
6.25m long. Of which 4.55m comprises Dave Jones' solo.
But we digress.

Bill, I have played "Canal Street Blues with George Probert on versions that have lasted 22 and 23 minutes.
