Dear friends,
Further to my mate Jack Mitchell's advice yesterday, that the Dizzy &  
Louis YouTube video clip is from the TIMEX SHOW, January 7, 1959.
This was the Timex Show No. 4 - 'The Golden Age Of Jazz".
Jackie Gleason was the host, as others have suggested.
The Dizzy Gillespie Quintet (with Louis on "Umbrella Man) had Junior  
Mance (piano) Les Span (giutar) Sam Jones String bass) Lex Humpries  
(drums).
Other bands taking part in the show were the Louis Armstrong All Stars  
(with Peanuts Hucko on clarinet) Duke Ellington, The Dukes Of  
Dixieland, the George Shearing Quintet and the Timex All Star Band  
with Roy Eldridge, Coleman Hawkins, Vic Dickenson, Marty Napoleon,  
Milt Hinton and Jo Jones.
