When you in Florida be sure to come by Treasure Island, Fla. and stop in the Bilmar Beach Resort on Weds. from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.to hear the Suncoast Dixieland Jazz band under the leadership of Paul O'Connor on trombone, with John Lamb on bass and the kid Roger Athans ( age 88) on drums. And they have been playing in the same room at the Bilmar for 42 years.I think that's some kind of record.!

Hello folks,
A friend of mine will be visiting the Fort Lauderdale-West Palm
Beach-Miami area in Florida from the end of this month and until
November 19, when she's scheduled to fly to Los Angeles and stay there
until the 24th.  She's be interested in hearing some jazz (that means
- OKOM, i.e. - Dixieland and swing).
So, if you know of any places that feature OKOM around that time,
please let me know.
