Methinks there was a British band of the 50's/60's which did just that. The
Confederates Jazzband (Jazz Band) did (according to Mr. Google) cut at least
one single with Brigitte Bardot for Decca (F11401) in 1961.  Northeast
trumpeter, Clem Avery, played with a Confederate Jazz Band tho' whether this
was the same Decca band, I dunno.
