[Dixielandjazz] Auld Lang Syne -- Best Key for Audience Sing-Along?

I asked about a good key for this tune, for situations like New
Year's Eve when the audience will want to sing along.

Bob Smith suggested C major. 

Bob Ringwald recommended F, which would make the highest note a D,
within range of most male voices. Beth Schweitzer agreed.

Bob Smith then reconsidered, based on the above and on a published
lead sheet in E-Flat.

I found online sheet music in E (not my best key, LOL, nor the
best key for anyone in the band other than the banjo player), so I
think I'll use E-Flat.
