[Dixielandjazz] For the Trombonists

As I recall, the band on Slide Hampton's CD "Spirit of the Horn" has a rhythm section and seventeen trombonists, the playing of some of whom has not always found unanimous approval from contributors to this group. This session might represent the largest extent of slide movements on any recording under this leader's name, although previous sessions have brought together relatively high numbers of specialists on "sliphorn", as the instrument was called on one of four numbers recorded by four trombonists under Benny Morton's name in the, or course, 'forties.
Do trombonists, like golfers, shout "'fore" when someone is liable to be struck in the course of their playing?
