Dear Dave ( and US mates),
Before this non-OKOM thread gets us closed down, I wonder why the  
original "Whisky Galore" title had to be changed to "Tight Little  
Island" for US audiences.
•Copyright reasons because of the book.
•The misspelling of whisky?   8>)
•The connotation of the 'alcohol word' in a family film?
This has been going on for years, and a few Australian films have  
finished up with ridiculous alternate titles to 'satisfy' the US market.
