Martin Scorceses film on The Stones..."Shine A Light".  Excellent!
 
Ok, so it's got nothing to do with OKOM (other than some good blues), but
it's got a heck of a lot to do with energy, stamina, showmanship, etc., etc.
No talking about each song, no sitting in chairs, no trying to be
sophisticated.  Just stand up, Shout 'em, Aunt Tillie music.
 
It's been on tv everynight for 4 or 5 nights now when I got home from my
gig.  I've watched bits of it over 3 different nites, which means hitting
the bed at 4am.  
 
I usually watch a bit of tv after a gig to get the songs out of my head.
However, this film has left me singing all nite long.  And, I've never ever
been a Stones fan......  I am now.
