Dear Scott,
As none of the DJML US oldies have responded, may I offer a memory
prompt?
The Billy May orch recorded a popular non-vocal version of
"Forgettable" in Hollywood for Capitol on 7 January 1952.
I was available on an EP, including here in Australia. However, it is
not in my collection.
Two great trumpet candidates in the recording band at that time were
John Best and Manny Klein.
Just a thought.
Very kind regards,
Bill.
