Hi , Dave.  He will have to pay an import duty. Don't know what the import
duty will be on a second hand instrument. He will have to pay 16% VAT (we
call it IVA) on top of the price, the import tax, and the shipping.   Don't
think there is any problem, other than having to pay, but I'm not really
sure of that.
