One of my best friends from my youthful past, Edwin C Reed is the clarinetist on that album.

?

I also think Ted Butterfield may have been on it.

OK all you Jazz Scientists!?

?

I'm trying to find out the personnel on the album in the subject line. The vinyl I have is typical of that era - tons of info on what mike was used, what process etc., and scarcely a word about the musicians! Ray Bauduc (drums) and Nappy Lamar (banjo) are mentioned only because they appear "courtesy of Capitol Records".?

?

Besides the two mentioned above, there are Rich Matteson on helicon, Rick "Cougar" Nelson on trombone and then??

?

Trumpet??

Clarinet??

Bass? (on a couple of cuts) (No, it wasn't Don Mopsick - he was already too old to play when this was recorded ;-) )?

Piano??

?

Your insight and wisdom are greatly appreciated.?

?

Those who answer all personnel correctly will recieve a weekend with me or a ten pound ham.?

?

Dave Gannett ?
