[Dixielandjazz] Trips on a Time Machine

 My time machine trip would have to be back to the mid-30's in Kansas City to catch any late night jam session with the Basie band before they left for New York.? Perhaps the evening Coleman Hawkins came to town and played until sunrise trying to cut Lester Young and Hershel Evans then supposedly burned out his Cadillac trying to catch up with Fletcher Henderson for a gig the next day in St. Louis.??
