This is NOT good news. There have been very few people who have done as  much 
as Leslie to support our art, and the public's enjoyment of OKOM. It takes  a 
very special kind of person to do what she has done.
 
I ask that everyone keep her and her family in prayer.
 
A card of appreciate would be great too!

I'm sorry to be the  bearer of bad news but reports from Minneapolis is that 
Leslie
Johnson  (of Mississippi Rag Fame) is very sick with cancer and in a hospice. 
 
The
prognosis is not good. I'm afraid I don't have any more details  than that. 
Her assistant
Jodie is looking after her. There might be  more info at their web site but 
don't
know for  sure.
