Yes, of course, and we do that making good, happy music. Why not just say
"we please our audiences"? Why insert the sexual overtones? I'm certainly
not straight-laced, but I don't see any reason to refer to the audience in
that manner. No one from the audience side has ever said that to me, nor has
any musician before made that remark to me. Just sounds kind of peculiar,
when there are so many other ways of expressing the same thing.
Yes,I take my music very seriously, but not "too seriously" as suggested.
It has been the basic part of my working life, and that's fairly serious!
My most pleasing memories are when people tell me our music made their day.
I don't write anything more into that, other than they enjoyed the music &
that's great!
