There is a Dutch musician whose playing I love.  Howver, on the two
CDs I've bought because he was in them he sounds much less exciting.
Apparently, he needs the audience.

As to drinking, there are numeroud jazz concerts where one cannot
drink.  Still, they often provide an experience one does nor get while
listening to records.

Apparently, the BG Carnegie Hall concert was recorded unbeknown to the
musicians, and might be better for it.  Plus, that thankfully was
before the remixing days.
