[Dixielandjazz] Nighthawks on CBS Sunday Morning

As a result of my outspoken baseball fandom, I've had a number of interviews for newspaper and magazine articles, and they've even stuck a microphone in my face a few times (which is never good in my case because all I start to do is babble).  I've learned that in a fifteen minute interview, you're lucky to get one sentence included.  This is what happened to Vince Giordano, I think.  

A couple of weeks ago two of my physics students were interviewed on a local TV station (Rockford, IL) about a competition they were participating in.  No one I talked to saw the interview.  I don't know if that's because no one watches the station or because none of it was used.  (We don't get Rockford TV where I live.  We get Chicago TV.)

They tape a lot more than they use.  A LOT more.
