Just shows that even Homer nods. What rubbish! Good soundbite but not much
else. I don`t suppose Ben intended it as an adage to live by. Just a line in
a speech or `wise saying` for a page in his almanac.
`Those who would exchange freedon for security are probably getting old`
would probably have been more accurate.
Just in passing here is the advice of Charles James Fox for using quotations
"No Greek: as much Latin as you like; never French under any circumstances:
no English poet unless he has completed his century"
