On Sunday, April 12th, 2009, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, the Napa Valley
Dixieland Jazz Society invites you to enjoy an afternoon of traditional
jazz featuring:

Jass City Jazz Band

At the Lodge, 2840 Soscol Avenue, in Napa, California.

Directions from Vallejo/Fairfield:
Go north on Hwy 29 to the "Lincoln Ave." off ramp. Go right on Lincoln
to Soscol, left at Soscol to the Lodge. The Lodge is only about 0.2
miles past Pueblo Ave. on the right.

Directions from Sonoma/Santa Rosa/Petaluma:
Going east on Hwy 12/121 from Sonoma, go north (left) at Hwy 29 to the
next exit ( 121/Imola Avenue/Lake Berryessa ) and go right.  Take Imola
to the 5th light which is at Soscol Avenue and go left on Soscol about
3 miles, through 8 traffic signals.  The Lodge is only 0.2 miles past
the 8th traffic signal at Pueblo Avenue on the right side.

Admission is $ 10.00.  If you belong to another trad jazz club, you can
get in for $ 9.00.  For members of Napa Valley Dixieland Jazz Society,
admission is $ 8.00.  For ages 12-17, admission is $ 3.00 and children
under 12 get in FREE.  The Napa Valley Dixieland Jazz Society meets on
the SECOND Sunday of each month.  The program, which starts at 1:00 PM
and lasts until 5:00 PM, has 3 sets by the featured band alternating
with 3 jam sets.  Jam Set musicians are welcome!

The Jasstown Revelators, formed by Jim and Sherry Hubbart in the
early 90's, quickly became a local and regional favorite, performing
at many jazz clubs, festivals and public and private venues. In
late 2004 Jim retired and turned the helm over to Bob Sakoi. All
the key players stayed on. However, subsequent to Jim's untimely
passing in January of 2005, the Revelators name was retired. The
Jass City Jazz Band will carry on with the same swinging
beat, those most requested fan favorites and some new numbers, all
in the tradition started more than a decade ago envisioned by Jim Hubbart.

One month later, NVDJS will feature Black Diamond Blue Five
on Sunday, May 10th, 2009 from 1-5 PM at the same location.

Spacious Dance Floor.  The lodge has Food and a Full Bar.
