Yes you are right voting begins Friday after all the nominees are  
named. Jonathan goes up against some stiff competition so I hope all  
listmates will vote for him on Friday.

old jazz
violinist and Riverdale resident, has been named one of five finalist in
1010 WINS Tomorrow's Newsmaker contest.  Jonathan's achievements that
garnered the judges attention include an Ambassador's Award from the  
U.S.
Embassy in Hungary, the
release of two cd's and performances throughout the United States.
Most resently Jonathan was engaged to perform three nights with Wynton
Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra on November 6th, 7th  
and
8th.  The public will have a chance to help determine the grand prize  
winner
by voting for the People's choice award at http://www.1010wins.com .   
The
winner will be announced next week on the WINS web site.
