I, of course, was not at the Condon sessions wherever they were held,
but I did get to talk to Dick Cary later on when he played with Bob
Ringwald and the Great Pacific Jazz Band in S. California. Also at the
rehearsals of the so called "Tuesday Night" band in his home. As with
most such trivia, even when it comes from the "horses mouth", some
things get lost in the translation, even when you speak the same
language. :-) CRS affects many of us at various times.

I will therefore defer to the experts on those recordings as to whether
Dick did or did not play the "Peck Horn", or Alto Horn, during any of
the shows, but he most certainly mentioned having it with him, and
taking it with him after the war. He had it in his home, and often
played it during the rehearsals.

If he did not play the piano at any time during those shows, but only
with Armstrong, I am sure Bob Ringwald can confirm that. As to the rest,
it is my story, and Dick's at the time, and I am sticking to it. Bob
often says I am wrong 100% of the time, but it stirred up some interest.
