[Dixielandjazz] skiffle music

It never would have occurred to me to think of Asylum Street  Spankers as a 
Skiffle Band--still does not seem to fit.  In the only  live show I saw IF they 
were playing saws, washboards, kazoos, home-made  instruments--I never really 
noticed.  So I would think  such instruments, if used, were peripheral rather 
than central to  their music.  I'm one of their gray haired fans and I think 
of them as  one of the best string bands, if not the best, on the scene today. 
 I also  think of them as vocally superb.
