Hello,
My name is Lori L. Donahue. I live in California but am from Cedar Knolls,
New Jersey
originally. I came across this thread from a friend and was very interested
in it.
I am Don Donahue's daughter(G.B.Donahue and his second wife was Louise
Donahue who owned
the Olde Tyme Music Scene Shop bank in the 70's.
I have an original Buffalo Jazz Disaster Band 78 album cover but somewhere in
my many moves
I lost the album, Not the Cover, in California. I assume somewhere in my
California travels
I played it on a turntable for a friend and forgot to put the album back in
the cover. Have
been angry at myself ever since. I grew up with my Dad, Don Donahue
constantly collecting
music memorablia, RCA logo black and white dogs, must have had a hundred of
them....
old Victrolas that I know were at the Old Tyme Music Scene shop in Boonton
along with
all the albums he had collected over the years. They use to live in our
basement in Cedar Knolls New Jersey as my mother did not like the unbelievable
amount of them that had piled up over the years. If
this email gets through to anyone....? I am wondering if anyone pictured on
the back of that
old album "Buffalo Jazz Disaster Band"circa 1970's still has the album and
could it be put in CD form???
Don Donahue my father played harmonica on the album, hence my interest in
putting the
old Cover I have with the actual music which I have lost.....sadly.
Sincerely, Lori L.Donahue
