Steve,

 I love having dancing on gigs,  we have some very good dancers but on the 
whole they don't regard themselves as part of the act, apart from the 
wonderful Jiving Lindyhoppers who ARE sometimes part of the Harlem act that 
is!.... It must be pretty disconcerting for someone to have their solo 
interrupted by applause for a tricky dance manoeuvre .  Bad manners from the 
audience and dancers I think.
