[Dixielandjazz] Noise?

Well this wasn't at a jazz festival but one time I was performing near the 
river in New Orleans with an AF 18pc jazz band.  We were in a gazebo very 
near where the river steamers dock.   We were wailing away and the steam 
Calliope on one of the boats started playing.  Nothing can compete with 
that.  We just packed it up and left.  I thought the leader was going to 
have a stroke.

Personally I hate playing parades and always have.  At the same time I have 
been in more than a man ever should.  Time and age has done nothing to 
improve my thoughts on them
