A journalist named Rush Evans has written an article called In Search of Austin Jazz which recently appeared in The Good Life.  It starts off by mentioning some of the local modern jazz players, but soon gives way to a very nice look at the OKOM scene around Austin.  The Evans article is illustrated by photos.
