Gary Peterson is the leader of Stumptown, though I'm not sure that the band
is active any more. In any case, I doubt at this stage that Gary will be won
over by the "great exposure and publicity" benefit. I don't have Gary's

Good morning,
 
I am making initial contact to inquire about the availability of Stumptown
Jazz Band to appear in a 45-minute pre-game concert at Volcanoes Stadium
this coming summer.   

We are the class A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants playing at
Volcanoes Stadium, Exit 260, in Keizer, Oregon.   We are part of the
eight-team Northwest League of Professional Baseball.   Last summer, we
built a large entertainment deck adjacent to our Lava Lodge barbeque area
and beer garden.   We have plans to provide great family-oriented, class
entertainment prior to the ballgame.   Our Friday crowds will touch 4,800 as
we have an extensive fireworks show after each Friday home game, and our
Saturday and Sunday crowds will be in the 3,300 neighborhood.

This summer our Friday home dates are:  June 20 and 27, July 18 and 25th.
Saturday home dates are June 21 and 28, July 5 and 19 and 26th.   Sunday
home games are June 29, July 6 and 27th, and August 3rd.

If you do the National Anthem or GOD Bless America, we would invite you to
sing the Anthem prior to the game, and GOD Bless America in the 7th inning
if you so choose.

We do not have a budget for the event; however, we feel we offer great
exposure and publicity for a group.
