I started going in 1980 and went almost every year. It can get
crowded on some days, but there are ways to avoid the huge crowds and
enjoy the lesser known acts. The food and crafts (and other non-music
events) are so much better than most music festivals - almost an
equal draw for my attention! I have not been to New Orleans since
Katrina - I still don't know how I will react to the changes to that
city...
Anybody know what the "Tuba Woodshed" is? Google only turns up links
to the 2008 Jazzfest event listing.
