Dear Bill and List Mates:

Bobby Kevin played with the very popular Ken Mackintosh Orchestra in the UK
circa 1949 or so. Back when, as Pat Ladd will probably tell us, that dancing
was all the rage in England. Wouldn't surprise me if Pat danced to Kevin's
beat and Mackintosh's band, after WW 2 ended and before the Beatles took
over. Prior to that he played alongside Mackintosh in a band (Frank Weir's
All Stars circa 1947) that featured pianists George Shearing and Ralph
Sharon. He is on the CD "Drum Crazy", see below for the company he kept.
