Rae Ann,

I have found several libraries that ha digitized their collections of
old sheet music.
In general, you won't find the sheet music for tunes written after 1922.

Here are some of my favorites:

 -  Indiana University
<http://www.letrs.indiana.edu/cgi/b/bib/bib-idx?c=devincent;c=starr;g=sheetmusic;cc=ALLSELECTED;xc=1;sid=82959752a2e5ac22b5fedb61169aee40;q1=let%20me%20call%20you%20sweetheart;page=boolean>
 -  Duke University <http://library.duke.edu/digitalcollections/hasm/>
 -  Mississippi State University
<http://library.msstate.edu/content/templates/?a=1496&z=392>
 -  University of Colorado, Boulder
<http://ucblibraries.colorado.edu/music/smp/browse.html>
 -  Johns Hopkins University
<http://levy-test.dkc.jhu.edu/>
Also, if you do a Google search on "digitized sheet music " you will
find lots of other sources.

Happy searching,

Friends,
A musician I know asked me today if there is a source on the internet for obtaining sheet music of particular songs. I don't know the answer. Any help out there?
