There is a Google reference to a "James Sumner Tolliver, Bechet's
collaborator on Polka Dot Rag, who became his close friend and his chief
musical transcriber for many years. Tolliver (whose nickname was Buster)
was from new England and had grown up with Johnny Hodges and Harry Carney.
He played all the reed instruments and was also an excellent pianist."

This is listed as a sample from "Sidney Bechet, The Wizard of Jazz," by John
Chilton
