OK,
So I am an idiot. Not a sin. Probably the reason I care to reply to
a polite person like you. But I have ears. And have listened to jazz
for well over 50 years. And I don't care how great the technique of
Cleveland was - his playing did not usually sound like jazz to me
(although, if I'm not mistaken, I did mention that he was closer to
jazz than JJ).
