I have my dad's old 78 of "Slap Her Down Again, Paw" somewhere. They could never get away with making that record today. The Mariners on that side of the record are billed as "The Too Fat Trio," so this was obviously a follow-up. Archie Bleyer led the band on both sides of the record. This flip was "I'd Give a Million Tomorrows (For Just One Yesterday)."

Could the girl singers be the Moilan Sisters? Don't forget that Godfrey
also did "Slap Her Down Again, Paw. " Talk about PC!

The singers on his national morning show included a sisters trio (I can't
remember their name) and Julius LaRosa.
We had his record of the Too Fat Polka. I think he also did Huggin' and
a'Chalkin'. They might have been the A and B sides of the same record.
