Remo Palmieri.  He turned up 50 years back playing wild 
jazz fiddle on two or threee items where he'd been engaged 
as a session guitarist with the bluessinger / 
harmonicaplayer/ guitarist  Jimmy Reed.
 One of them is called "Odds and Ends" 
and they might be a real surprise to any Jazzvioliniac.
