Shalom John,
Thanks so much for your warm congratulations and happy recollections of the
Red Sea Festival. Will be happy to see you again here in Israel or wherever.
Krina and I will come to the US in late October and into November. Itinerary
is not set yet, but will include at least south Florida and Los Angeles, and
probably Philadelphia. It will be Krina's first trip to the US, so we may
make other stops. We'll post our itinerary to DJML as always, and hope to
meet many friends and list-mates in our travels. It's always a pleasure.
Krina is a tour guide in Israel, so we welcome visitors who would like some
professional guidance for your visits as well as a friendly reception. We'll
make you an offer you can't refuse. And who knows? Maybe I finally have the
partner I need to realize another dream -- to organize a trad jazz tour of
Israel and concert series, maybe the first of many.
Blessings from Jerusalem,
Elazar

John Wilder here - usually a lurker, but I had to send my sincere
congratulations to Elazar on meeting and getting engaged to such a fabulous
soul-mate! I played piano with Tom Wiggins' band in Israel at the Red Sea
Jazz Festival a couple of years ago, and Elazar was such a wonderful host.
He was not an official part of the festival, but he went out of his way to
make us all feel welcome in Israel. I mentioned that I'd like to go to the
undersea park, and Elazar was happy to drive me (and Bob Romans) to see it.
Even though we knew each other for only a short time, Elazar became a good
friend. I am so happy to hear that Krina has recognized his big heart and
giving nature and has committed to building a life with him.
Elazar and Krina, I wish you the very best of happiness and success. May
you always have a life full of music and love! I hope to someday visit
Elazar again and to meet Krina in person. Congratulations!
