It was May 5 1956.
My wife and I went to Carnegie Hall to hear the
first performance of a British band in New York.
I have no idea of what was negotiated. I wouldn't
have missed that performance for the world.
I still have the Lp recording of Ted Heath Live at Carnegie
Hall and still love it!
