[Dixielandjazz] Borderline Jazz Band

Saw the Borderline Jazz Band yesterday at a concert. They've been  
touring along the East Coast for the past 10 days or so. Was invited  
to jam with them Tuesday at Fred's Farm in New Jersey but cannot due  
to prior gig commitments. Rats.

Co led by Jim Freyer TB and Bria Skonberg TP, this version also  
included Cynthia Sayer BJ, Joe Midiri CL, Jim Lawler DM, and Ed Wise BS.

Great musicians all, great band, they played 3 and a half hours to an  
appreciative Tri-State Jazz Society crowd. I finally got a chance to  
F2F with Bria, after a three year cyber friendship.

Also had some interesting discussions with Jim (Freyer) and Bria about  
their programming ideas with regard to developing young audiences. Ask  
them how they do it the next time you see them.
