The website has been updated with the following 6 articles of supreme 
historical interest:

Peter Hanley sends an in-depth essay on the vaudeville pioneer William 
Benbow.   This accompanies Benbow's WWI draft registration card, and 
includes much detailed and new information.   Mention of String Beans 
(Butler May), "Ma" Rainey, Jelly Roll Morton and Frank Melrose.

Brian Goggin sends an excellent essay on the New Orleans trumpeter Anatie 
(Natty) Dominique.   This accompanies Dominique's WWI draft registration 
card.   Mention of Jelly Roll Morton, Zue Robertson, Louis Cottrell, Baby 
Dodds and Jasper Taylor.

Noted researcher Sue Attalla sends a pictorial advert for a previously 
unknown Jelly Roll Morton engagement at Shady Grove Park, Uniontown, 
Pennsylvania from The Daily News Standard, dated Thursday, 14th July 1927.

Brian Goggin sends a superb essay on the Louisville, Kentucky drummer Lee 
(Mert) Perry.   This accompanies Perry's WWI draft registration card. 
Mention of Jelly Roll Morton, "Count" Basie, Johnny Dunn and Garvin Bushell.

Prof. Alan Wallace sends an advert from The Chicago Defender, dated 
Saturday, 4th June 1921, which contains details of what could well be J. 
Lawrence Cook's first free-lance commercial music rolls for the Bradford 
Song Roll Company.   Mention of Perry Bradford, an associate of Jelly Roll 
Morton, and the famous blues singer Mamie Smith.  Additional information
