[Dixielandjazz] Playing the comb - was Blueblowers

When I was a kid (1930s) we all played combs. We would fold a piece of  
waxed paper so that it covered one side. Then we would hum through the  
comb. Just tried it, still works but it tickles my lips. Don't  
remember it doing that back then. Probably better waxed paper in the  
old days. <grin>

Not sure why we did it, or how we came to know about it, but no doubt  
Red McKenzie had something to do with it.

No doubt you other old timers did it too.
