>Many of you may remember former DJML member Burt Wilson. Burt for many
>years was the leader of the Silver Dollar Jazz Band. He is an author and
>independent film producer.

>Burt may be seen on Ken Burn's PBS Series, "The War."

Saw Burt a few times on the show recounting his experiences as a lad in
Sacramento during WW 2. Handsome devil and very erudite.

For those who have not seen any of the episodes about "The War", it deals
with segments of WW 2, and how they affected both the men fighting it, and
the people in several towns from whence they came.

Sacramento is one of the featured towns and Burt's memories are a part of
the Sacramento experience.

There is also some fine OKOM as background music to the series in case folks
feel this is off topic. <grin>.

Cheers,
Steve Barbone
