You might want to try the King 2B+ it's a .500 bore versus the 
3B's .508

It's a nice horn that has a snappy sound and fits in most 
playing situations well. I like them with the gold brass bell.

If that doesn't fit his fancy, King also makes the 3B 
silversonic with a silver bell(inside is goldwashed). The slide 
is nickel silver.
