Yes.
In 1947-48 with Charlie Barnett, June Christy (1950), Shorty Rogers 
(1954), Herbie Harper (1954), his own group in 1955.
I gave up looking after I found the LP album:
'Bud Shank Plays Tenor' by the Bud Shank Quartet.

Recorded in Los Angeles on 29th November 1957 for Pacific Jazz PJ-4
