Dear Paul,
A good description, but don't believe everything your read on Google.
Sidney Bechet did NOT play sarrusophone on his one man-man-band record
date for Victor on 8 Jan 1941.
He used clarinet, sop sax; tenor sax and piano for "Blues of Bechet"
and added string bass and drums for "The Sheik Of Araby".
His sarrusophone efforts were confined to a Clarence Williams' Blue
Five session for Okeh on 17 Dec 1924 and the ensembles and a 32-bar
solo on "Mandy Make Up Your Mind".

And pay particular attention to Louis Armstrong's superb contribution
throughout.
After 60 years, it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand
out!
Kind regards,
Bill.
