Speaking of terrible vibratos, as you listmates were, maybe I can start or begin to extend the list upon which I suggest we crown Bechet the king.    Add Jimmy Dorsey and next -- a very popular extant porcine player whose vibrato is nothing more than a nervous quiver that all but destroys most of his otherwise beautiful and highly technical solos.
